👋🏽 Welcome or welcome back to The Spark Files [TSF] - your treasured artefact for living audaciously and building a purposeful life you love.
THE RUNDOWN: RELEASE #10
All I do is win, win, win no matter what (🎶DJ Khaled). This release is for the winners and those that would like to win in life. Let’s go!
OPENING THOUGHTS
Playing to win and playing not to loose are two different mindsets that will result in two different kinds of players on the field.
Can you tell the difference? 🤔
Both players have completely different requirements. The former has a focused goal (to win) and the latter is participating (don’t loose).
Life is the field and how you show up daily determines the kind of player you choose to be, everyday.
Let’s peel back the layers.
A DEEP DIVE
Don’t hate the players, don’t hate the game.
Study the game, learn to play, and play to win (always!).

The current cultural atmosphere
My only caveat is: when you do win, make sure that you love the prize and that playing the game was worth your investment.
Delulu as the Solulu:
Delulu = Delusion; Solulu = Solution.
Delusion is a fixed, false belief that is firmly held despite clear, contradictory evidence. It is often a symptom of a mental health condition, neurological issue, or high distress. Key aspects include being unreasonable, disregarding facts, and often indicating an abnormality in thought content.
The culture says having delusion is the solution and Wikipedia describes delusion as a mental illness rooted in false belief.
How do we reconcile both?
The underlying message of the “delulu is the solulu” mantra is to empower individuals to believe in themselves and the successful outcome they hope for, even if reality i.e. their current circumstance strongly suggests otherwise.
I call this living audaciously i.e. having and exercising audacity! Does this ring a bell? 🔔
The language we use matters a lot; you don’t have to be mentally ill to believe in yourself.
Our brains need evidence to reinforce our beliefs, and this is a mental muscle that can be cultivated through repetitive actions that train your mind to go for what you want and, as a result, win in life.
We should not blur lines.
Mind Over Matter
Mind over matter is a saying that figuratively encodes the principle of your reality following your beliefs.
Again, it all starts within because our internal world manifests into our external reality.
For my music lovers, video learners, deep thinkers, and knowledge enthusiasts, these two resources are my go-to whenever I need to get my mind in the right space to accomplish a task or do something big.
Listen to Katy on YouTube and pay attention to every lyric she utters. Come back and share how this tune made you feel in the comments of this TSF release👇🏾
Watch Chikodilee break down the neuroscience behind the mindsets that lets you win in life on YouTube. Comment your takeaways and new learnings in this TSF release👇🏾
To all my TSF readers, don’t say I did not put you on game. Sharing is caring 🤗. If you have any go-to music, video recommendations, or personal rituals that get you in a winning state of mind, comment and share them with the community!
Manifestation
When you manifest, you create a vision for your future self in the present moment. The goal is to envision where you want to be in the future and get your present self to that reality.
The gap between where you currently are and where you want to be is a combination of “action” and “time”.
Manifestation without putting in the work to get yourself there is just wishful thinking even though the “gurus” want you to think otherwise.
Effort is a key ingredient that many omit from the “manifestation” playbook.
Everybody can dream, however, not everyone can wake up, put in the work, and turn that dream into a reality. When people say “I’m living in my wildest dreams” that’s because they got up from their beds and made their dreams a reality.
Who doesn’t want a rich life? A free life? A purposeful life? We all do!
The difference is, those that WIN actually get to live this desirable lives.
Even the bible says
Faith without good works is dead.
For me, Faith is an action word. It is believing in the impossible i.e. the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1), believing even in the face of uncertainties, and when everything else signals an unlikely outcome.
Sounds familiar? Well yes, because my audacity is rooted in faith, which is grounded in God. When I move with and in faith, I am unstoppable.
Faith is to me what “delusion” is to the culture: same principles, different foundations.
Heaven helps those who help themselves. Give God and his angels something to work with (I’m begging you 😅).
📝 TSF TAKEAWAY
Failure is Feedback not an option. I talk about winning a lot in this release and one thing winners do ever so often is to fail. They fail fast, fail forward, and get the feedback they need to WIN.
So no, failure is not the opposite of winning, it is a prerequisite to WIN and stay winning. When you fail, you truly understand and appreciate the effort required to win, so, fail more.
REFLECTIONS
Go WIN. Put in the work and expect the result.
Demand nothing more from life than a richly purposeful one that you love and live, every. waking. day.
My one WINNING move right now is building out my company nu-anced· I have never done anything like it before, there’s a ton of uncertainties, and it is unknown territory to me BUT we move regardless.
Use the thought sparklers as guiding questions to identify what your one WINNING move could look like at this point in your life. Let it be something that both scares you and challenges you in the best way. I’m rooting for you, always!
